  • Flag Football - 1st & 2nd Grade

    • Type: athletic
    • Gender: coed
    • Grade: entering 1st - 2nd

    This flag football program will be: committed to teaching critical life and team skills through the game of flag football, committed to developing high character youth student-athletes, and committed to the youth the of the Rocklin community. We look forward to focusing on teaching these young student-athletes how to catch, pass, run, and execute the basics of football. Every player will receive a team jersey and set of flags.


    Practices and games will be played under all conditions unless extreme weather or other issues arise. Preliminary practice and game times for the season are listed below. Final scheduling for the season will occur in late December. All final schedules will be posted and emailed to participants.


    Each Sunday, practice times will occur one hour prior to game time. The schedule below reflects one hour of practice and one hour for the game. We will provide a safe, positive, competitive, and family-friendly environment to learn the game the right way and have fun doing it! Our non-contact, flag football format will prioritize a safe way to learn, practice, and play the game of football. Friends, family, and football will be our motto with the purpose of creating life memories within a positive environment; it is our culture instilled at the high school and we look forward to taking it to the youth level. Each team will be coached by an adult coach from the Whitney Football staff along with student volunteers.

    The Whitney High Athletic Department hired Coach McNally in 2018 as the head football coach. A former linebacker at De La Salle High School, McNally carried his successful prep career with him into college. As a walk-on at Boise State University, the Broncos won a Western Athletic Conference Championship. The following year, McNally transferred to Diablo Valley College, where he helped the Vikings win their first All-Golden Gate Conference championship. From there, he received a full-ride scholarship to Northern Arizona University. He was a three-year starter there and was named the Lumberjacks’ captain in 2009. In 2010, he began his coaching career as an assistant linebacker coach at NAU. He also served as an assistant defensive line coach. In 2013, McNally began his prep coaching career at James Logan High School in Union City. He served as defensive coordinator, linebacker coach and was the strength and conditioning coach. He eventually became the Colts head coach.

  • Kids Tennis Camp

    • Type: athletic
    • Gender: coed
    • Grade: entering K - 8th Grade

    This camp is for kids age 4 to 14 years.  

    The tennis sessions are for 2 hours every Satruday for 5 weeks and offer 3 sessions per day. You can choose a session which fits your schedule. 

    We will have 2 Whitney High tennis players for every 4 students.
